MISC.

Here lies the handful of projects I’ve written, but, for one reason or another, aren’t part of the main library. Each will come with its own little explanation.

• THE DEAL TRILOGY (This was originally written in 2012 under a different name, then republished as Misty Vixen, and then unpublished after a few months, technically the first thing I ever published under the name of Misty Vixen. I admittedly do not remember WTF exactly was going on. It was a 22,000 word trilogy of shorts about a younger guy who happens into some money and pays his hot, older coworker for sex, and ultimately they fall in love. I considered bringing this one back in some form for a little while, but ultimately discovered that it was gone. I can’t find it anywhere. Which is probably for the best as, while it ultimately adheres to the standards I set for myself, it doesn’t really work all that well with the rest of my library.)

• HOMESTEAD (So, unfortunately, this no longer exists. In early 2016, I really wanted to write a post-apocalyptic tale, but I wasn’t sure how well it would go over. So I wrote an episode that was basically a pilot for a series that would have been called Homestead and released it. It didn’t do well, so I took it down, deleted it, and reworked it. Eventually, it became Sex & Survival. Don’t worry, you genuinely aren’t missing anything.)

• FORBIDDEN LOVE I & II (I’ve never told anyone about this before! It was about this time (mid-2016) that I decided to experiment with incest fiction. I found a site that published it and wrote two novellas about a dude hooking up with his mom. Both were published, but honestly they hardly made any money at all. I think less than 100$ altogether, and they were up for years. Ultimately, I asked for them to get taken down and now I intend to touch them up and republish them when I get around to my incest writing phase! Someday…)

• A WARM PLACE EPISODES 1 - 12 (I wrote this originally because I wanted to get back into the simplicity of serialized fiction, where the production relied 100% on me. This was my only success, and I finished it out at a dozen episodes. No bonus content. Eventually, I took it down because I realized I was wasting time writing as Crystal Candy, and because I had a really fantastic idea on my hands, and I went on to write the A Warm Place series as it stands today. If you are deeply curious about it, you can find a copy of this for free on my website. In short, it’s roughly A Warm Place 4 & 5, and ends different, and has several other probably noticeable differences. It’s been forever since I’ve read it.)

• PLANET OF THE BUGS EPISODES 1 - 2 (This was my second project as Crystal Candy. I wanted to take a shot at this LitRPG or GameLit everyone was talking about. I felt on very shaky ground with the first episode, and even shakier ground with the second. I was perhaps a third of the way into the third episode before realizing I hated writing it, and it was never going to work, so I trashed the whole thing. For the deeply curious, I still have the first two episodes (whatever I wrote of the third is gone).)

• REFUGE EPISODES 1 - 4 (This one I actually really liked, but ran into something of a roadblock, as well as a time problem. I got about one novel’s worth of content written.)

• MAIDENS & MAYHEM EPISODES 1 - 3 (So this was a failed attempt to write a sort of run-and-fun fantasy adventure of a guy helping revamp an old adventurer’s guild and building a harem in the process. I kind of enjoyed the three episodes I did write, but by the time I wrapped up the third episode, I realized I just didn’t care enough about the characters or the story at all, and by then, it was looking like Crystal Candy was becoming a waste of my time. Again, for the extremely curious, I still have these episodes somewhere, but I’m never finishing this one either.)

• A SISTER’S LOVE (So this was the next time I took a shot at writing incest fiction. I figured I’d try to make another go of it and published this one myself under a different name. However, I ultimately took it down and abandoned the project. That being said, I still have this 8,000 word short about a guy hooking up with his older sister, and I will put it up for free at some point and continue the story.)

• OUR OWN WAY PARTS 1 - 7 (I wrote this as yet another attempt to get back to serialized fiction. I believe I’ve learned my lesson for good this time. Hopefully. This is now being rewritten as full-length novels, however, the original version is available to download for free from my website. UPDATE 2025: I didn’t learn my lesson.)

• THE MATCHMAKER OF SKYHOLD (One of the only fan fics I have written (that I have admitted to, lol). It’s Dragon Age fan fiction and it isn’t very far along. At present, it isn’t even available because I stopped working on it. Someday, I do intend to keep going with it. It’s about, among others, Fiona and Lysette finding love with a young, inexperienced warrior.)

• NO ONE ADMITS IT (My second stab at a fan fic. Another Dragon Age one. It’s short, erotic, and incestuous. That information is enough to either drive you off or get you invested.)
