Okay, I’m starting to feel better. For the most part. All it took was the first quarter of the year.
Sorry about last month. I got sick near the beginning of the month with some kind of stomach something. I’ll be the first to admit I have a weak constitution, but nausea and stomach stuff just fucks with me so much. It basically brings my capability in general down to like 20%.
First, let’s discuss what happened in March. Unfortunately, not as much as I would have liked.
TOMBOY SUPREMACY is here! Me and Lara got it written and out. It’s a little different from how I normally write stories. I hope you enjoy! It should have an audiobook at some point in the next two months or so.
I launched an Iron Lung fan fiction. It’s called There Has To Be Something, Right? It’s a haremlit…yeah, a haremlit fan fiction for Iron Lung. I know, I’m not sure what I was thinking either. Mostly, I’m looking forward to being able to write fucked up nightmarish horror stuff. Although don’t worry, it still follows the basic rules of harem. Given how busy I am, I’m repeating my disclaimer that this story might go dormant for long periods of time.
2026 Harem Anthology is up for pre-order! A while ago, I made mention of a secret project. Well, it’s finally here! I’ve written an apocalyptic horror short for this anthology. Check it out! It’s dropping April 15th.
Misty Vixen Assembled is out! I didn’t make any real fanfare over this one because it just had a single new short story. (Although personally I think it’s a pretty cool short story). For the most part it’s just a repackaging of my older erotic shorts and novellas. The new original is called The Hinterlands and is about a huge pocket dimension that sucks stuff randomly into it from other dimensions. It focuses on a regular human guy who got isekai’d and decided he kinda liked it better over there with the hot faun girl and the eight-foot grumpy alien girl.
And that’s pretty much it. I was obviously hoping to get a lot more done, but the sickness fucked me up.
Now, it’s time to talk about April.
With the burnout, Seasonal Affective Disorder, and stomach sickness clearing up, I’m finally beginning to feel like I’m normal again. Or, you know, normal for me. That being said, I’m going to heed the advice basically everyone is giving me and try not to go too far too fast. Which is going to be extremely difficult, because I still have so much on my plate. So April’s still going to be kind of slow. Here’s what I’ve got in mind.
WOMAN OF THE WILD is going to come out. Like, really soon. Ideally before the week is over. It basically got put on the backburner all March, but now I can wrap it up. I don’t really want to make a big deal out of this one, because technically it was the first novel I wrote as MV. So, it’s 2017-era writing. I’m doing touchups here and there, and I’m adding about five thousand words of new content (mostly from the perspective of the dryad love interest), but it’s for SURE not going to be up to the standards of modern novels, and I want to be transparent about that. Cousin Harem Erotica! I thought that might get some people’s attention. All right, so, get this. Patreon updated their Community Guidelines to be a lot more clear about what’s allowed and what isn’t. (Good on them for actually fucking doing that, even if some of it is kinda like ‘why?’, like they plainly state CNC isn’t allowed, despite it being consensual and despite them emphasizing the need to depict consent.) While I was looking over it (and thinking I really need to get on setting up a SubscribeStar), I found a very interesting quote. “Permitted only on pages categorized as Adult/18+: Sexual activity between spouses, domestic partners or cohabitants, in-laws, or cousins in animated, illustrated, or written works.” (Can we just take a moment to point out how bizarre it is that spouses, domestic partners, and in-laws are all listed under Allowed Incest?) To quote the Angry Video Game Nerd, there it is: un-embellished, unmistakable, crystal clear, as frank as Frankenstein, as blunt as an ATOM BOMB. They allow cousin-specific written incest erotica. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but I’ll take it! Basically, I want to start a background project for this. Call it the unexpected opportunity for the next stage of incest harem testing. Much like my Iron Lung fan fic, I’ll be posting it a bit sporadically, given everything else I need to be doing. Also, despite how clear Patreon is about this, I also get the impression that I might face opposition and it might get taken down, so keep that in mind. Also, it’s not going to be contemporary. Sorry if that’s what you were hoping for but I’ve had TOO MUCH contemporary narratives in my life just recently. It’s going to be post-apocalyptic, which is all I’ll say about it for now.
TOMBOY SUPREMACY 2. This is going to be my primary focus for the month. And honestly, it’s going to be my primary focus until it’s finished. We’re aiming to make it a trilogy and are hoping to have it finished before July, at least for the individual novels. If we’re lucky, this one will go up for pre-order in early May.
BY THE HEARTHFIRE’S LIGHT. This one should be back on track. I’ll be posting it to my Patreon this month and I should be good to get it going on the same schedule Down the Rabbit Hole had. In some ways, now that it’s all taken shape fully in my head, I’m realizing it’s kind of a lot like DtRH, narratively speaking. In short, the protagonist is a warrior more suited for survival than most everyone else around him (though by FAR not to the degree that Hunter was, this is not an OPMC), helping survivors deal with a dangerous disaster and build up a secured home base. So hopefully you’ll like more of that.
OUR OWN WAY 7. Sorry this got derailed, and is going to kind of stay derailed for a bit. This year has been a real mess for me so far. I am going to be trying to work on this consistently across March, but the updates are going to be slow because I’m both trying to take it easy and am having to divide my attention between this, Tomboy Supremacy 2, and By the Hearthfire’s Light. I’m intending to get it done as quickly as I can, but under the constraints I’ve placed so I don’t burn myself out again. Ideally, this one will be published in May. Probably late May.
UNTITLED SHARK HUNTER SERIES. This one is still happening, I just realized that I need to clear the table more first. I’ll be working on this basically when I can in the background, but I’d like to at the very least get Our Own Way 7 finished before I start posting it.
That pretty much covers it. Hopefully April is the month I get my shit back together and May resembles May 2025.
