So, I have more bad news. But at least some good news.
The bad news is that another complication has entered my life. I don’t really want to go into too much detail, but basically, a good friend of mine’s significant other ended up in the hospital in critical condition. She has been staying with me, as she has mobility issues/nowhere else to stay (I live near the hospital, she doesn’t). That has been an ongoing nightmare for a few weeks and has recently come to a tragic conclusion.
Because of this, my already slow production schedule is slower, and while I’m finally beginning to feel better thanks to the change in medication (that’s the little bit of good news), there’s still going to be some issues for at least a couple more weeks as I help her figure out what her life looks like now.
That’s all I really want to say about that.
I managed to get Parasexual out. If you’re looking for information on that, check this blog post out. To anyone willing to give it a shot, I very much would appreciate the support right now. (If you think the cover art looks weird, I kinda agree with you, and I’m getting it redone. Hopefully it’ll be ready soonish. I guess I missed it with everything going on.)
Tomboy Supremacy 2 audio should be out relatively soon.
As for my goals this month?
Unfortunately, not much is sure. Some of it, however, is intended.
OUR OWN WAY 7. Obviously I didn’t get anything done on this except for that one chapter. I’m hoping to get my shit back together enough to at least get something done on a regular basis for this.
PARASEXUAL 2. Naturally I’m going to get work done on this one as well. I had hoped to have them sort of lined up and ready to go one after the other, but that plan has completely fallen apart. I intend to get it out this month and, if we’re lucky, get at least the pre-order up for the third one.
BY THE HEARTHFIRE’S LIGHT. I need to get something out on a more regular basis, clearly, so I’m firing this one back up. I’ve tried to do so a few times now, but it was derailed each time. Here’s hoping this time around it works. I like this one. It’s basically Silent Hill in the stone age. (Really more the fog and the monsters, than the psychological horror and existential terror.)
That’s all I’ve got for now. I can’t really promise anything beyond this, and even this makes me nervous with everything else going on.
